Hello! 

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. 

I set up Sarah Regan Communications after 13 years working in complex public sector roles. I have extensive experience working on communications and engagement projects from staff campaigns to national external campaigns, and everything in between. Some examples of my work include:

Campaigns and events

• supporting the communications and engagement activity involved in the building, and opening of,  a new mental health hospital, working with trade, regional and national media to secure positive coverage. This also involved extensive community consultation and engagement. 
• creating student focused comms and engagement activities and campaigns to raise awareness of changes to student funding policy. This included social media activity, attendance at exhibitions and working with professional bodies amongst other activities. 
• over the years I have worked closely with various media outlets to secure proactive coverage as well as working with and advising senior leaders on reactive media coverage. 
• planning and managing staff awards ceremonies of around 300 attendees covering the Lancashire footprint.

Strategic comms and engagement including project management

• working closely with key stakeholders to inform and ultimately achieve policy change.
• working collaboratively with in-house teams to build relationships and engagement with a new sector to raise awareness and encourage organisations to apply for new funding for training staff.
• extensive experience working within a project environment as the comms and engagement project lead.
